What does your affiliation programme consist in?
At PLANETHOTEL.NET we distinguish two kinds of affiliates:
i) all sites and portals (tourism portals, general portals, newspapers, much visited sites, AdV sites ...), offering their customers the rooms published in our database while obtaining an income from it
ii) bodies (webmasters, associations and consortia) taking a more active role in the promotion of our system.
The affiliation programme foresees that PLANETHOTEL.NET enables you to use the One Booking reservation software on your website while you offer PLANETHOTEL.NET maximum exposure and advertising for its booking system.
Each time one of your visitors will book a room, you will be credited a commission.
How long does the affiliation contract bind me?
The duration of the affiliation programme is 6 months. It will be renewed automatically without interruption. Both you and PLANTEHOTEL.NET can end the agreement by a simple notice which needs to be sent off 90 days before the end of the year. In case of default, the contract can be ended at any time with 30 days' advance notice.
When terminating the affiliation programme, which commissions will be matched?
All commissions for all bookings promoted by you will be paid out to the last day of activity of the search engine on your site.
How long does the set up of the affiliation programme take?
A few days, a week at most.
What commissions are paid out for the bookings originating on my site?
The commissions we are paying are a fundamental element of our success: we would like to retain this information mentioning the amount only to those with real intent to become our partner.
How often will I receive the matured commissions?
Normally once a month, around the 20th of the following month after the stay at the hotel. Should your commissions amount to less than Euro 100 in a month; the commissions will be paid out the following month.
How does PLANETHOTEL.NET trace the bookings to know on which site they have originated?
The technology we are using assigns an identification code to each site. This code is associated to every booking. This is how we always know who has made a booking and from where. Should you wish to promote your site with other sites you have business contacts with, we can give these sub-affiliates a code that enables us to disburse a commission to them and to you for every booking.
Do I have access to my statistics?
Yes, with username and password you will be able to see all the statistics regarding your bookings: number of bookings per month, date, value in Euro, hotel ...
All you will need to market your site. Furthermore, you can see the state of your commissions, those paid out and those matured or due to be compensated.
Will there be your logo and link to your site on the search engine?
Yes, PLANETHOTEL.NET do not make it their business to sell hotel rooms to the consumers. Our activity is part of B2B. Our clients are hotels and agencies that are selling rooms or tourism packages online through our partners and affiliates, be it webmasters, hotel consortia, their associations or site managers.
Therefore there will be a link to our sites on any site using our system. The former are not booking sites, but rather sites giving a general presentation about how our system works.
Can I link one of my pages directly to the booking page of a specific hotel?
Yes, this is an excellent solution. It will allow your visitors to book the hotel at issue without having the entire database of our hotels at their disposition. This link will also trace your identification code allowing to attribute the commissions to your account.
Can I have sub-affiliates?
Yes, you can recommend our search engine on as many sites as you like and you will also get a commission for bookings from the sites that are affiliated to you.
